During this pandemic, having a job is hope for everyone, especially for refugees living temporarily in Indonesia. PT Seaweedtama Biopac Indonesia supports Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia and UNHCR Indonesia, in self-improvement training activities for refugees to enter the world of work. So far, only some refugees have managed to enter the world of work. They work as part-time workers or apprentices in several industrial sectors.
This training is conducted online on 24 and 29 July 2021, which aims to increase opportunities for them to be absorbed into the world of work. Topics taken in accordance with the world of work are leadership, digital marketing, writing cover letters and resumes, and interview techniques. In this training, several refugees who had sent their CVs had the opportunity to conduct direct interviews with PT Seaweedtama Biopac Indonesia, represented by Mrs. Noryawati Mulyono. This activity received a very positive response from the refugees, and of course, a closer understanding and opportunities for job seekers to the industrial world.
